Just think about what is happening. Multiplying an unknown and then adding 3. There are several ways to do this;
A number multiplied by 8 is added to 3.
3 plus a quantity multiplied by 8
The ones you have to be careful for are the ones where order matters. Don't forget PEDMAS your order of operations.
