The formula for average rate of change is given by:

[tex] \frac{f(x_{2})-f(x_{1})}{x_{2}-x_{1}}


Plugging x2 as 3 and x1 as -3

[tex] \frac{f(3)-f(-3)}{3-(-3)} [/tex]

=(27-27)/6

=0/0
