the speed rate is simply obtained by dividing the meters by the seconds.


so Tawni did 50 meters in 40.8 seconds, that means her speed rate is 50/40.8 or about 1.23 m/s.


Pepita did 100 meters in 60.2 seconds, so she's 100/60.2 or about 1.66 m/s.


Susana did 200 meters in 112.4 seconds, so she's about 1.78 m/s.


the one who ran the fastest is the one who covered more meters in 1 second.
