Nine more than the quotient of a number and 5 is 7

The quotient of a number n and 5 is written as n / 5

Nine more means to add ====> n / 5 + 9

Equation:

n / 5 + 9 = 7

Solve for n:

n / 5 + 9 - 9 = 7 - 9

n / 5 = 2

n / 5 * 5 = 2 * 5

n = 10

Answer =========> n = 10
