The slope of this line is undefined.

In order to find the slope of any line, we use the following formula.

m(slope) = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

In this equation (x1, y1) is the first ordered pair and (x2, y2) is the second.

m = (2 - 1)/(-5 - -5)

m = 1/0

m = undefined

As for your answer for the values of x and y, x is always equal to -5, which you can tell by the two points. y can be absolutely any number.
