The circumference, or perimeter, of a circle can be found by multiplying its diameter by 3.14. What is the circumference of a circle that has a diameter of 3/4 inch? Express your answer as a decimal rounded to the nearest hundredth.

circumference (C) = 2.36 inches (to the nearest hundredth)

C = πd = 3.14 × 0.75 = 2.355 = 2.36 ( to nearest hundredth )
