If its parallel to y=2x-10, which has a slope of 2, the slope of the new line is 2 (the same slope).

use point slope form:

y - y1 = M (x - x1) where M is slope

y - 11 = 2( x -(-2))

y - 11 = 2( x + 2)

y - 11 = 2( x + 2)

y -11 = 2x + 4

y = 2x +4 +11

y = 2x + 14 has a parallel slope and goes through (-2, 11)

y=2x+b

Solve for b.

Plug in coordinates.

11=2(-2)+b

Simplify.

11=-4+b

+4 on both sides.

15=b

b=15

The answer is y=2x+15.
