The formula of an area of parallelogram:

[tex]A=bh[/tex]

We have

[tex]b=6.3\ in[/tex] and [tex]A=28\ in^2[/tex]

Substitute:

[tex]6.3h=28[/tex]            divide both sides by 6.3

[tex]h=\dfrac{28}{6.3}\\\\h=\dfrac{280}{63}\\\\h=4\dfrac{28}{63}\\\\h=4\dfrac{28:7}{63:7}\\\\h=4\dfrac{4}{9}[/tex]

Answer: [tex]h=4\dfrac{4}{9}\ in[/tex]
