Question

what is the solution of the system of equations? y=-4x+10 y=-2x-6

ANSWER-

y = -4x + 10

y = -2x - 6

-4x + 10 = -2x - 6

-4x + 2x = -6 - 10

-2x = -16

x = -16/-2

x = 8

y = -4x + 10

y = -4(8) + 10

y = -32 + 10

y = -22

solution is (8,-22)
