= 127.06 kPa

Explanation:

According to pressure law which states that the pressure of a fixed mass of a gas is directly proportional to its absolute temperature at constant volume.

Therefore;

P1/T1 = P2/T2

P1 = 123 kPa

T1 = 30°C + 273°C = 303 K

T2= 40°C + 273°C = 313 K

Therefore;

P2 = P1T2/T1

   = (123 × 313)/303

   = 127.06 kPa
