So if you go to Desmos and graph it, you’ll see that point 1 (x1,y1) on the cord is (-1.265,0.47) and point 2 (x2,y2) on the cord is (1.265,5,53) and you wanna find the length of that cord so you have to use the distance formula. Using the distance formula you get that the length of the cord is about 5.66 units. Or 5.7 if you wanna round to nearest tenth. Hope this helps!!!
