The average kinetic energy of a mole of gas can be determined through the equation KE= 1.5 nRT where R is the gas constant equal to 8.314 J/K-mol and T is temperature, The temperature for this problem is 125 Kelvin and n is equal to 1 mole. KE then is equal to 1558.88 Joules.
