First we are going to write down the equation of the volume of a cone:

  • formula: V = πr²[tex]\frac{h}{3}[/tex]

Next we plug in what we already know:

  • 607 = π(2)²[tex]\frac{h}{3}[/tex]

Now we simplify to get the h alone:

            607 = π(4)[tex]\frac{h}{3}[/tex] = 607/4 = 151.75 × 3 = 455.25

So the height of the cone would be 455.25 feet.
