[tex] \frac{17}{5}+ \frac{11}{5} [/tex]

[tex]= ((17 * 5) + (11 * 5)) / (5 * 5) [/tex]

[tex]= (85 + 55) / 25[/tex]

[tex]= 140/25[/tex]

[tex]= 28/5[/tex]
