How are Cornell Notes different than "regular" notes

Cornell notes are really organized and everything has its place, regular notes are just whatever you feel like writing down and usually stuff ends up getting all over the page. Usually Cornell notes help you stay super organized so when you look back at your notes you understand the concept.
