Substitute equation 2 into 1;

P =2(3W-2+W)

8W = 68+4

8W = 72

W = 72/8

W = 9 feet

Since L = 3W-2

L = 3(9)-2

L = 27-2

L = 25

The length is 25ft and the width is 9ft
