Would/should I have really not have been involved in a car crash if I had been driving more slowly?

I think if you had been attentive while driving and not distracted and you were driving slowly and more catious maybe yes. But on the other hand some things just happen out of the blue and you can't help it. It might not have been your fault it could have been the other drivers fault.
