How are the earthquakes related to volcanoes ?

Because earthquakes can start shaking and set off a volcano or erupt it

Geographically, volcanoes are situated on the tectonic plates. So most of the earthquakes happens alongside the tectonic plates, causing the magma to move, causing the volcano to erupt.
