If this were to happen, then the prey of the kangaroo would most likely go extinct due to the sudden rise in population of the kangaroo. If there were more kangaroo, then there would be less of whatever the kangaroo ate, then the prey of whatever the kangaroo ate would suddenly increase, it goes all the way down the chain.
