The linear equation that represents each function is y=mx+b. While The m represent the slop so instead of writing you write the slope provided. Then multiply by the X + b which is your Y-intercept.

Here is an example,

The slope is 2/3 and the y intercept is 6, write a linear equation for this sequence.

y= (2/3). X +6
