Mass propaganda was issued against Jews as a way to turn the public against them and make it easier to blame them for the failing economy. They were used as scape goats. Additionally, anyone who would show compassion to them would also be seen as outcasts and were targeted. The demonization of the Jews did not happen over night, hitler had been blaming them for Germany’s tragedies since the beginning and as he got more powerful he began to take direct action.
