What do you think Malcolm X meant when he said, " Today it's time to stop singing and start swinging ... Cassius Clay can sing. But singing didn't help him to become the heavyweight champion of the world . Swinging helped him."

Considering the above statement, Malcolm X who is known for being a tough and fierce civil rights campaigner meant that people should rise against the injustice meted out to them.

Instead of doing non-violent protests, they should take up a violent protest by any means necessary since that what will help them.
