Hey Maddieshmurdaa!

When two exponents have the same base or factor - such as 3^6 and 3^8 - and are multiplied, the exponents are added together. The answer would be 3^14.

Hope this helps!

According to laws of indices, two exponents with the same base when multiplied will be added together.

For example:

3^4 x 3^8 = 3^12
