how do you divide 117 and 2.25

Answer = 52 because you do 117 divided  by 2.25 which leaves u with 52

First, multiply 2.25 by 100 to get a number with no numbers after the decimal point. Since we did it to that side, we must do it to 117 or else the equation will be unbalanced. I think you can do the dividing work from there.
