1.2g/mL x 1000 ml/L = 1200 g/L = 1200g/L x 0.372 =(446.4g HCl/L)/36.46 g/mole = 12.2 M/L HCl

To prepare a 2M solution:

V1 = ?, M1 = 12.2M

V2 = 1L, M2 = 2M

V1*M1=V2*M2

V1 = (V2*M2)/M1

V1 = 1*2/12.2 = 0.164 L or 164 mL of 12.2M HCl diluted to 1 Liter with water will yield a 2M solution.
