If an article is sold for Rs 450 after allowing a discount of 10%, find the list price of the article. please solve it by financial arithmetic method

Discount %= 10%
Discount= x × 10%= x/10
Price after discount =x-(x/10)= 9x/10
But, given price after discount = rs 450
9x/10=450
9x=4500
x=4500/9= rs 500
