The 4:1 ratio should first be changed to 4/5.

y2-y1= 2+1 = 3 which as a fraction is 3/1, now multiply that which the earlier fraction 4/5 to get 12/5 = 2.4

x2-x1= 4-2= 2 which as a fraction is 2/1, do the same as earlier, multiply by 4/5 to get 8/5 = 1.6

now add these to A to get point Q

2+1.6= 3.6

-1+2.4=1.4

Point Q = (3.6, 1.4)
