During the prehistoric age, a  factor that caused a lot of migration from Asia to North America was climate change.

How did climate change affect migration of people?

From researchers the way that climate change was known to have affected migration was that it caused people to move to areas where they could have access to food.

Hence it can be concluded that climate change was a major factor that caused migration.
