y= 1/4 x -3

Replacing the second equation in the first one we got:

-x -4(1/4x -3) =4

-x -x +12= 4

-2x = 4-12

-2x = -8

x= 4

And the value of y would be:

y= 1/4* 4 -3= 1 -3= - 2

And the solution would be ( 4,-2)
