Rule for a dilation with center (0,0)

k is the scale factor.
For point P (0,3):
[tex]\begin{gathered} P(0,3)\rightarrow P^{\prime}(2(0),2(3)) \\ P(0,3)\rightarrow P^{\prime}(0,6) \end{gathered}[/tex]Then the coordiantes of point P after the dilation are (0,6)
