[tex]x^2(2x-3)^2[/tex]

Simplify the expression:

[tex]\begin{gathered} (a-b)^2=a^2-2ab+b^2 \\ \\ (2x-3)^2=(2x)^2-2(2x)(3)+3^2=4x^2-12x+9 \\ \\ \\ x^2(2x-3)^2=x^2(4x^2-12x+9) \\ =4x^4-12x^3+9x^2 \end{gathered}[/tex]

As you can see above the highest exponent in the polynomial is 4. Then, the degree of the polynomial is 4
