A cylinder has a radius of 3m2n vand a height of 7mn. The formula for the volue of a cylinder is v= (pie)r^2h, where r is the radius and h is the height.

Given the volume of a cylinder V = pi(r2)h we simply plug in the numbers The radius is half the diameter so r = 4cmthe height h is given as 12 cmV = 3(42)(12) = 3(16)(12) = 576 cm3 Note:  Generally we would use 3.14 as the rounded value of pi.
