How would you describe Lee's portrayal of the church/organized religion?

Harper Lee portrayed religion in his novel as other perceptions of other themes like sexism, discrimination, and racism. In the story, religion was believed to be a person with perfect Christian morals, however, it was their way of criticizing other people.
