One of the ways the 'Tragedy of Julius Caesar' portrays betrayal is, that Brutus beloved friend to Caesar ends up conspiring against him in a plot to kill him, in a tragic twist however this murder eventually leads to his down fall. Brutus only wished to kill him when he thought it best for Rome, but Caesar's death brought far more chaos than peace.
