To answer this, you've gotta consider the triangle angle rule. It states that all the angles in a triangle add up to equal 180 degrees. To figure out the measurement of angle L, add the two given angles (112 + 31). That gives us
143. Now subtract that from 180 to find the last angle's measurement 

180-143 = 37 degrees :)
