Solve 2w + 3 over -3 = 1.

2w + 3 /- 3 = 1

Simplify

2w - 1 = 1

Subtract 1 from both sides of the equation

2w - 1 = 1
    + 1      +1
-----------------------

Divide both sides by 2

2w = 2
 / 2    /2

w = 1
