All we want to do is use the formula...
[tex] x^{ \frac{a}{n} } = \sqrt[n]{a^x} [/tex]
In doing so we should get...
[tex] \sqrt[5]{y} [/tex]
This is an equivalent expression however just the radical form of your given expression.
