Originally, Dvorak went unnoticed and the composer, in frustration, even burned some of his earliest works. Eventually his music did attract some attention and praise an Dvorak experience quite a career boost when Johannes Brahms spoke in high praise of Dvorak. On Brahms pushing, Dvorak even wrote Slovanic dances for piano, the sheet music for this was sold out in just eight days.
