Aristotle believed in democracy as the best form of government. The laws that are set out by the people, should be obeyed by the people. That should be the final rule in society, because without laws and people abiding by them there will be chaos and not a civilized society. He does acknowledge though that there are times that there may be a subject or conflict that everyone cannot agree upon, and then and only then may man be the final rule. Examples of this could be abortion, assisted suicide, homosexuality and religion.
