First, enter the variables into the expression.
[tex] \frac{1}{3} ^{2} - \frac{-6^2 }{2/3} [/tex]
Square 1/3 and -6 to get this:
[tex] \frac{1}{9} - \frac{36}{2/3} [/tex]
Divide 36 by 2/3:
[tex] \frac{1}{9} - 54[/tex]
Subtract 54 from1/9 to get the final answer:
[tex]-53 \frac{8}{9} [/tex], which is option D.
Hope this helps!
