The answer is 10 days passing time for every kitten saved. Your would divide the total number of days by the five friends to get 100 days for every friend, then you would evenly divide the 50 kittens to each of the friends' allotted times (100 days) which end up with 10 kittens for every hundred days. Divide the 100 days by the 10 allotted kittens to get one kitten for every 10 days.
