The platonic solids (or regular polyhedra) are convex with faces composed of congruent , convex regular polygons . The mathematician Euclid proved that there are exactly five such solids. They are the tetrahedron,cube, octahedron, dodecahedron andicosahedron. The tetrahedron has faces.
