How many morphemes are there in the sentence "i predicted it"?

A morpheme is the smallest unit when looking at words. 
"I" and "it" cannot be broken any further than they already appear, so they count for two morphemes in the sentence. 
"Predicted" can be split into three morphemes: "pre" (the prefix) "dict" (the root) and "ed" (the suffix).
