Hello!
To find the surface area of a cube you use the equation
[tex]6 a^{2} [/tex]
a is a side length
Put in the values we know
[tex]6* 9^{2} [/tex]
Square the 9
6 * 81 = 486
The answer is [tex]C)486 mm^{2} [/tex]
