Milk--Along with the harmful bacteria, pasteurization also kills the beneficial bacteria in milk. Heat is not selective. Anything present in the milk that can be damaged by heat is damaged, which means the good bacteria as well as the bad

Juice--Although the levels of certain nutrients in juice may decrease with pasteurization, the final product retains most of the original nutritional value.
